Protex Textured Wall Coating Systems

Everyday exterior walls withstand adverse weather conditions. Even the newest constructions show signs of deterioration. Conventional painting systems soon lose their protection against damage caused by adverse weather conditions within 2 to 3 years.

Our resin based coatings are water insoluble and offer a lasting barrier to water ingress and mildew growth. The microporus nature of protex allows the walls to breathe without loss of adhesion in the form of blistering or peeling, unlike ordinary paints which soon become brittle and start to flake.

Our coatings are hard and chemically inert making them ideally suited for exterior masonry. Once spray applied, it is up to 20 times thicker than ordinary paints and is designed for maximum concealment of surface defects.

Light-fast pigments of the highest quality are used in our products to ensure good colour stability on exposure to sunlight, thus preventing fading and discolouration.

Weather and climatic conditions are a real challenge for exterior masonry paints whether it be wind driven rain 'freeze thaw cracking' mildew growth in maritime climates, acid rain, industrial pollution or dirt pick up in urban areas.

Todays resin coating technology allows adaptation of drying time to weather conditions without affecting film formation, and can be applied in hot or cold weather. Our coatings are rain resistant 30 minutes after application, eliminating the risk of damage by sudden showers.
